I'm lucky enough to live pretty much next door the the Lake District and typically take it for granted. I'm far from the outdoorsy type, but can appreciate the views from the comfort and warmth of a car.
I decided to go on a road trip with a friend and take some arty-farty pics on my phone (so obv not the best)
Anyway - here's what I have 'on my doorstep'
Not the best pics, or the most scenic of places there are, but this is what we saw. I like the last pano one, as it shows the sun hitting one side and it getting shadowy on the other.
