Thunder Bolts of Lightening - very very frightening . . .

You know you sang that in your head. . . no? well, I did. Can't beat a bit of Queen.

Here is Bex's Lightening bolt nails.

She wanted something quirky - so I gave her quirky. She is facing her fears - Bex HATES Thunderstorms - so I decided to be mean and pop some lightening bolts. Nice, I know.

I used Gellux 'Wild Mink' Bundle Monster BM-305 plate and Sally Hansen Quick dry pens (make sure they do not have pen nibs, but rather the brush ends) in Silver and Konad special polish in black.

Toe Stamping

Jeez I love this design, I've had it on twice now. With the gel polish lasting approx 2 months I'm surprised I haven't sickened myself of it, but I simply LOVE it.

Here I have used Gellux 'Pink Cosmos' with O.P.I. 'Which Is Witch?' and Konad black special polish.

Race for Life - Breast Cancer Awareness

I had a couple of clients mention they were going to be doing the race for life this year, and wanted some nails to go with the theme of Breast Cancer Awareness.

How could I resist?

I set about trying to find the perfect colour to go with their t-shirts 1st and hit jackpot with  CND Shellac 'Hot Pop Pink'

I teamed it with Konad Special polish in light pink (I can't find the name on the bottle - sorry).

One client also wanted a blue nail so we went with O.P.I. 'No room for the Blues'.

I used Bundle Monster Stamping Plate BM-321.

This is the first CND Shellac i have bought. I used it on mum to test the colour, durability etc. I went on a dream and looked fab, but I found did not last as long as the Gellux or O.P.I. on her.

O.P.I. - I Just can't Cope-Acabana

WOW, so I went really out of my comfort zone on this one, and EVERYONE noticed. All were really positive comments too!

I used O.P.I. 'I Just can't Cope-Acabana' with Konad Black stamping polish and the BundleMonster 'BM304' stamping plate.

Gelish Black Cherry Berry

I was so impressed with my dark Navy Gelish, I decided to get a red for my ever growing collection.

Here I used Gelish Black Cherry Berry with Konad White. The stamping plate was BundleMonster 'BM406'.

Today, mum was my guinnea pig. As she is of a certain age (just turned 60, but I'm not mentioning it on my blog, wink, wink) I wanted to see how stamping would suit an older client.

Once again, I was really pleased with the results, as was she. It lasted weeks and had no chips. It was only coming off where it was growing out and catching on her hair when she washed it.

O.P.I. Amazon, Amazoff

I've become quite a fan of O.P.I Gelcolor.

I've recently bought the Amazon, Amazoff. Green is not really a colour I would go for, but I think some of my clients will really like it. It a really nice, deep green colour.

Once I'd applied it, I thought it was a little over bearing, so popped some stamping over it to spice it up a bit.

Here I used the BundleMonster 'BM404' plate.

I've also used Stamping plate Konad 'm83' and Sally Hanson Quick Colour Chrome Green, which is a metallic/chromey effect, for this leafy, fern-type design.

O.P.I. Every Month Is Oktoberfest

Now, the photo really doesn't do this justice.

I went for an Autumny look and used O.P.I. Every Month Is Oktoberfest and used Kleancolour as the stamping polish.

Stamping Plate used was BundleMonster 'BM-H11' for a fab leafy design.

It looks a bit smudgy on here, but it's the angle and crappy camera(-manship, but a bad workman woman blames her tools).
